oh yah..i think like above all the joy from the celebrations and prezzies and these 2 posts- there is sth else that really touches my heart- its the sms you receive from people wishing you happy birthday and some whom you dont expect to remember! thanks guys!

I dunno how we got close in primary 5 when we were both streamed from diff classes.
I juz remember somehow we became penpals and began writing letters to each other, even thou we meet and see each other everyday.Those letters were so sillyfunnycock if I were to read them now, but they're filled wif so much love, memories n fun that I'll nv bear to throw them away no matter how yellowish they turned or how much bloody space they take up.

*i still have the letters too..cant bear to throw them away..tell me about it- they are like super lame as you read them now- like you were thinking how childish you can get- the loves and hates and the latest gossips in school..man..those letters are really hilarious and we always complain that siang handwriting cmi and she dont write to us but we will write to each other everyday and its more impt than homework that kind(cos we do our homework during lessons anyway!! hahaha) and those are just good times larh!! and we keep changing our names like nobody's business..hahah*

You can nv measure how much joy it brings whenever I receive a letter from Wei, and the everlasting fond memories attached whenever I re-read those words again and again.Though the letters maybe juz sent from across this little island, the love felt is not any less.

This letter-writing habit followed us all the way thrugh our secondary and JC days.
It turns into some kind of pillar of strength for me, and acted like a little sth I could hold onto to this friendship when we took very diff paths thrughout the yrs. U noe, we could be so busy wif things tat not meeting up like in mths is sth common!

We're so proud abt being able to carry on this traditional habit for so long. We even vowed not to be overtaken by emails/technology, but i reckon this has translated into shit now since we 2 r freaking IT-slaves.
*dots..yes..unfortunately YES- IT slaves- the problem with singapore larh..*
LOLs.
But who says being more high-tech cannot maintain everlasting friendships??

Nonetheless, I'm thankful for this very special friendship that lasted till this very day.
