ok..i am so totally regretting volunteering to do the group project proposal now..i did that cos i missed the meeting as there was a CNM IAC lunch and there was Cell..so i thought i shld do some stuff instead of just being a free-rider..then my emails are not being replied and i have no idea of how to get around to doing the report- whether it must be in long form or it can be in point form. arrgh..doesnt matter, just have to get it done!! hais..

i am starting my 2nd photo blog post..some pics are still with ping though..

met up with ping and siang today to go celebrate our beloved girl's 22nd birthday!!
ping and i decided to meet a little earlier to go and get siang's present and also spend the zara and topshop vouchers that ping got for the 21st birthday last year that are expiring soon..but nothing much at topshop and zara to get leh..so people..DONT get me topshop and zara vouchers for my birthday but i like dorothy perkins though..hahaha..anyhow..
before ping arrive i was at the orchard mrt station and there is a new entrance..and i took this pic while wating for ping:


i am so going to watch this when it comes out!! L!! i love L!! i think that the producers must be so surprised at the outcome that L is so famous after the show!! lols..

this is the hilarious letter that ping got in her mailbox that she found before coming to meet me. the thing is we think that the neighbour got some facts wrong cos ping has been living there for as long as i know her which is about 11-12 years and she DINT just move in. and why would someone write a letter like that?? maybe a direct confrontation would reveal that its not ping but the other units above! oh wells..and siang had a good laugh over that too!! lols..hahahha

then after walking around for a long time, we got siang a bag and that makes me wanna buy a bag too..the cheap catch that i got from bangkok is not that lasting and its spoiling already..disappointed!

so thereafter, we proceeded to khatib to meet siang who is working her attachment there..and we planned to go to this place call the Bottle Tree Park..sounds good right??

its was quite a walk and finally we found the place!(:

and there was a swing and we felt as if went back to childhood..so ping and siang got on it and gave it a ride!!

we sat down and ordered our food from the menu..hahhaha..all my romantic feeling all gone le..yesterdat i was imagining some nice place that you know you can enjoy your wine that kind..but they serve 煮炒 kind of food..but nevertheless it was a nice place.


after we placed our orders, we went to meet the bottle trees..

while walking to where the bottle trees are..i snapped some photos..

and here is the BIG one..its so big that the 3 of us cant hug it by joining our hands still..so you can imagine how big it is!!



saw our failed attempt in trying to hug the tree!!

here is another pic of that BIG bottle tree that i am so facinated about..and in case you are thinking where you have seen it before- you probably has seen it in the show 宫 where 律 brought 彩静 to the bottle tree garden in Korea..hehehe..its the same trees..according to siang the genius, the bottle trees only grow in dry climates..if it gain too much water it will rot!! lols..the big trunk is for it to store water in the dry climate!! so cool right? like the catus in the desert!!


and we headed back to the food cos the food is here and we saw this other species of the bottle tree that is a little smaller but more 毛毛!! lols..

i did my fave Sun's song, then of cos currently hit on my itunes 日不落 by jolin! and some others!!
and ping..i think she did quite a variety..we must go for a proper k session ok?? (: very long dint get to sing le!!!

then we took one last pic together before we bid farewell and went our separate ways!!

really glad that i got to meet up with the girls today!! love you guys!! thanks for being there the past 11-12 years of my life and i am glad that we are still so good friends!! hope that this can go on forever and forever!! hehehe..sounds so primary school like friends forever that kind!! lols..spice girls new song is can Headlines (Friendship never ends)!! hehehe..let's meet up soon before siang go back to Aussie in March..and i will mark it down- graduation road trip to Australia May 2009!! today is i-feel-like-blogging-day! (:
we met up to celebrate glen and yun(belated) birthday..wanted to go to munchie but they were having some OSA event there (actually i am quite thankful larh..cos i abit de..opps..dont say le..) and that time went with ping to Bosses at Vivo and thought that it was rather nice so brought the 2 of them there!! lols.. (:

realised that photo blogging is so tiring- that's why i dint do it with the bangkok photos..it would probably have killed me!! lols..

anyway, so here i am at about 3am still blogging. i am feeling so excited for those who are getting their 'o' levels results later!! lols..and i am going down to springfield to be with them!! so exciting!! hahaha..

was learning about our personality in organisation behaviour yesterday and there are some things that i dont really agree on. it is said that you cant change yourself much- rather it is rather stable and you respond to your situation. then i begin to think is outspoken people really outspoken and those introverted people always introverted?? can man really change?? or we are destined to the genes that are passed down from our parents or after we are socialised we cannot change? then i got my answer during the leader's meeting yesterday- its not true cos i am reminded that God can change our lives *applause* i mean like really- i see so many people whose lives are no longer the same. whether or not you know God, each day we are exposed to situations and circumstances that alter our course of life. we are shaped by the things that we go through and the decisions that we make. change is the only constant in life. (: sounds quite philo here right? lols..

then there was this other train of thoughts that was running through my mind (it was the first time that in class i dint touch my phone or laptop..so i had time to do other stuff!!) anyway, sometimes i think that i have spilt personality- so you never know you are talking to the good or evil twin..muahahhahaa..
but really, i think that alot of people think that i am rather loud (that is an understatement of the year!) and outspoken and will say out WHATEVER is on my mind. but seriously, half the time i DONT say out what is on my mind. there is this side of me that wonder and think about what are the consequences if i just say out right what is on my mind. of cos there are times that i still say out what is on my mind and those are the times that i usually get into trouble. so am i conditioned to stop myself from talking so much (or rather as much) so that i dont get into trouble with the things i say? its discipline till i learn to manage it better! some things people just dont need to know- i learn that the HARD way.

and there are many times, that as i sit in a class, i am afraid to share my views cos i dont wanna sound stupid or ignorant (sounds singaporean!) but really, this low self-esteem part inside of me (woah..dint know right?? actually i quite shy!! reallY!!) so what pastor taught this week was really good. i want to breakthrough from this shell and have the confidence- not of myself but knowing that God is with me and whatever i do is going to turn out to be alright!! (:

alright, enough of my thoughts for today!! the 铁观音 is wearing off..nights!
