091109- The day I become a licensed DRIVER!!!

Thanks for all the prayers & encouragement! God is really gracious! while it is raining dinos & hippos everywhere else, Ubi only light rain!!! Praise God!! (:

Was having my practise drive this morning, afternoon and butterflies are flying around in my tummy! The last prac yesterday was the best one I ever had so far, so I was beginning to build up a little of my confidence and then this morning I went to Ubi to pick up some T-shirt samples and saw the long queue of cars outside and my heart sank..anyway back to the warm-up and like suddenly couldnt do parking *faint* anyhow and I saw the dark clouds at the corner of my eye and the Ti Orh Orh Bei Lor Hor came through my mind and I was sian-ed..nevertheless, i went ahead and told myself that nothing can be worse than the last time le..so..uttered a prayer, off my phone and went over to the waiting room.

At 3.40pm, the TP testers began to come and call out the people 1 by 1 for the test. I took a glance outside, the dark clouds were really gathering! I thought to myself, perhaps I can be one of the first few so that I wouldnt get caught in the rain while I am doing circuit, esp the SLOPE!! The other time round, I was one of the first few to be called, this time round, I was 1 of the last to be called. I look at look at the tester, he dint really look friendly and I was totally sian-ed...

Circuit went SURPRISINGLY well, it was almost like what we did during prac..the sequence and all..I thought that my instructor must be a genius!!! lols..anyway, and we actually did the emergency break thingy wor!! woohooo!!!

First mistake came at the DOOR of the driving center when we are going out of the circuit, i exit on gear 2..sian the tester immediately say me..then we went on a route that I had never been on before..there are like 10 routes and most of them I got drive before one larh..so I was a little sianed..and the second turn, my car stalled!!! Faint!!!! So, i tried to remain calm and try to make my blind spots checks very obvious..then a few more other mistakes- i crossed the safety mark when I brake..cos I brake too late..and that happened TWICE!!! Never happen before and today it happened TWICE!!! gosh..and I was so nervous that I keep ramping the accelarator..rather ramp then to stall and the tester very sternly WARNED me again! sigh..I thought gone case le!! sigh..then keep changing lane here and there and then at the last part after entering the centre again, I was on gear 2 dint slow down and there were pedestrains and the tester say: you know there are pedestrains?? Why you never slow down? Dangerous driving!!! I thought that is the end of it!! gosh!!!

The walk up to the level 2 felt so sian..and the wait while he prepared my results slip..millions of thoughts ran through my mind..about retest and all..then we went through the test again..and he keep saying like you wouldnt get your license today already, I felt like "haish..ok lorh" then he finally turned it over and i saw the PASSED!!! you cant imagine JOY!!! and the whole time is the first time I saw the tester SMILE!! lols..he was so stern throughout larh!!! Smsed a few people, esp those who texted me to wish me all the best this morning. Taigong is like live broadcast, and the whole NTU side and some of the NUS pple sms-ed me!! I thought so li-hai I never sms them, they also know!! hahahha..but thanks to all your encouragements and congratulations!!! Would never be able to do it without all your support and belief in me!!!

IC zone leaders and helpers- poor things always listening to me grumble and complain and all the time you guys will encourage me!!

N397- I know you guys love me more than you say out!! hahahah..thanks for your prayers and always believing that I can do it (though I sometimes dont think so!!) I think you guys have more faith in me than I do in myself!! Thanks and love you all lots~!!
