If I am staying in a country with four seasons, I think that this is a period of time where I would spend alot of time sitting in front of the window, watching the trees shed their brown leaves and start thinking about life.Perhaps its the time of the year where you begin to realise that the year is coming to an end and you begin to take out that list which you make at the beginning of the year and tick off the things that you have done and the things which you are still hoping that you will be able to accomplish for the year as well as things that you can strike off the list cos its almost impossible to get it done in 60 days.
Its the time of the year that the days left on the calendar for the year is less than that which you have lived. Its the time of the year where you wondered if you have been good enough to deserve Santa's attention (if you believe that Santa is for real anyway).
Its the time of the year where you start to reminisce on the year that had past and you being to look through and think about the "milestones" that you have, the friends that you have made, as well as the ones that you have lost. Its as if you are doing a year in retrospect kind of thing- this is the moment.
November is a good time to do all that, take some time off your hectic schedule and think through about the things that you still want to achieve so that you have the time to get some of the things done still. November is a good time, cos thereafter you get caught up in the busyness of the season and a whirlwind of activities.
What are the things that you have achieved, the friends you have gained and how have you grown? No matter its good or bad, its part of you and it will help you to be a better person (I certainly hope so!). Embrace the remaining of 2011 and let this still be the best year yet for your life!
