As the year draws to a close, we think about the year that had gone by in a flash, to some its been a great year, to some others, maybe not. But however you had spent your year, it is over and it is done with. The question now then should be: What lies ahead?

Yes, there are things that we wished that we can turn back time and change, but the truth remains- we cant. While it is really annoying to say and hear this "things happen for a reason", it is true to, to the extent that you allow that sentence to impact and influence your life and thinking.

No? Maybe we are afraid to think and deal with the year that lies ahead. Uncertainty and the unknown leaves us crippled. Human beings like to be in control of situations, know what is ahead of us so that we wouldnt be caught by surprise. BUT that is the whole fun part of life isnt it? I am kind of glad that while I have an assurance that things are going to be alright, I live it forward and not backwards.

Lots of thinking and reflections to be done as the year draw to a close, many thoughts and emotions piling up as we take a step back and live through the year in review all over again. Many lessons learnt and many mistakes spotted. Courage to live life forward while it must be understood backwards. While you are at it, grab a few friends and have some fun!
