Realised that we havent been blogging for ages, guess all the thoughts either migrated to FB and twitter or we just dont get around to sitting down and penning down (or typing out) our thoughts anymore. There must be something else that is getting our attention one way or another. Otherwise, you just wish that you have a quiet moment to do nothing and just stone! >.<
Caught 老九 last week on Thursday with Siang (I was lamenting that I havent watched a musical for a long time so might as well just make it happen). Must say that it is quite good despite the fact that I heard that other shows were slightly better! haha..
Thing about theater is that there are some things that really set you thinking about your own life. While the disclaimer always write about how any similarity to any persons living or dead is purely coincidental, there will definitely be some parts of the show that one will find some 雷同, I guess that's why they say 人生如戏，戏如人生.
Different aspect touched on in the show: life, relationships, freedom and dream, guess that sets people thinking, though the choices that the character make might not resonate with the ones that we would make. One thing undeniable is that the decisions that you make will have an impact on the people around you. Hence, we tend to veer to extremes -- 1. Make decisions based on how we feel (afterall, it is our own lives so we make our own decisions) regardless of the impact of the people around us OR 2. We put too much thought about how our decisions will topple the stability and equilibrium that we have spent so long to build and ended up remaining and maintaining the status quo, that end up not achieving anything that is what we had in mind. Hard to achieve a balance I guess.
What are the things that are 今生不做一定会后悔的？I guess we would then need to know what are the things that are important to us and just 豁出去and 勇敢一点, 但我想要我们去打扰那个平衡，应该会很难。那么，我们也就不可以埋怨自己的遗憾吧？
所以，我们最初的梦想究竟是什么？
